Katia isn’t just a caterer; she’s a world-trained chef whose culinary journey has taken her across Brazil, Europe, and North America. Along the way, she has collected flavours, techniques, and stories from some of the most inspiring kitchens around the globe — infusing her cooking with culture, curiosity, and pure joy.
Her formal training is just as rich as her experience.
Katia holds both a Culinary Management Diploma and a Culinary Skills Certificate from Fanshawe College, a Healthy Eating & Lifestyle Certificate from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, and advanced training from internationally respected institutions like Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa and Escola Laurent Suaudeau in São Paulo. Katia is more than the sum of her certifications — she’s an experience maker.
She brings warmth, heart, and a bold, joyful approach to every event. Whether she’s catering a wedding, cooking a week’s worth of meals in your home, or rolling up with her adorable Foodie Cart, she creates moments that feel personal, fun, and unforgettable.

Training & Education
Katia’s culinary expertise is built on a foundation of formal education and ongoing professional development in Canada and internationally. She holds an Ontario College Diploma in Culinary Management and a Culinary Skills Certificate from Fanshawe College, along with nutrition training from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition.
Her continued education includes advanced workshops with Escola Laurent Suaudeau in São Paulo, Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa, the Accademia Italiana di Cucina Pandolfini’s Tuscan Cuisine Program, and participation in a farm-to-table culinary retreat in France, reflecting her commitment to quality, thoughtful technique, and an evolving, globally inspired approach to food.

Caring for our Community

For Katia, cooking has always been about more than just food; it’s about people. Giving back is woven into the heart of her culinary journey. Every Monday, she volunteers on the kitchen team at Gateway Church, preparing meals for roughly 100 guests participating in the Alpha course. It’s her way of nourishing not just bodies, but connection, conversation and community.
This spirit of service carries into every event she caters and every meal she prepares. Whether she is crafting an intimate dinner or feeding a room full of celebration, Katia brings the same heart, generosity and joy that she brings to her volunteer work. Serving others is her passion, and it shows in every bite.
